WORK EXPERIENCE

Freelance Journalist, January 2008 - present
Freelance journalist and photographer. Wrote and shot features for several publications including Jornal Tribuna de Macau, Jornal i, Revista Plenitude, Revista FreeBike, Revista online Rua de Baixo, DN Madeira, Revista DaVela.

Some of these features were produced in the People's Republic of China during the Sichuan earthquake and the Beijing Olympic Games. Produced the multimedia story "The Chinese New Year and the Portuguese Community in Macau" for the newspaper Publico.pt.

FNAC Portugal, April 2007 - July 2007 (international retailer of cultural and consumer products)
Intern at the Departament of Communication. Tasks: PR and media relations, daily news clipping, cultural information copywriting, various office tasks.

Jornal MaisFutebol, June 2006 - September 2006
Intern Reporter (part of graduation). One of the most popular news websites in Portugal. Provides comprehensive sports coverage, but addresses mainly football.

Reporter, Photojournalist, Film Critic (writer and coordinator). Wrote mainly for the scientific, cultural and sports pages.

Worked very closelly in multimedia with current experts Brian storm, head of Mediastorm, and Dirck Halstead, who founded the website Digital Journalist. Worked with severall professional photographers and editors from such magazines and agencies like Stern, The Guardian, Contact Press Images, Xinhua, Drik News, etc..
